Packed For Success

Packed for Success (PFS) is a student-led, non-partisan, non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Bree Key, who is now a 12^th grader at Fluvanna County High School, VA. One of this organization’s primary goals is to collect NEW and GENTLY USED items for families and students who can’t afford them. "How can you expect a child to learn when they don't have the basic tools for success such as a pencil or backpack?" Go GREEN we are not asking you to go out and make purchase, just donate what you have, but don't use or need.

Over 700+ backpacks and school supplies donated to-date with the help of people like you.

Funds are appreciated as well.

o    Backpacks / School Supplies

o    Sports equipment / attire (helmets, balls, cleats etc.) news or used

o    Art equipment (paint brushes, canvases, clay)

o    Music equipment (mics, drums, guitars etc.) broken or working

o    Computer/electronic items (laptops, ipods, ipads, mp3 players)

o    Regular clothing, shoes and as well Prom  / Formal Dress Attire (Pencil Closet)

·       Partnering/Fostering mentorships (pairing students/elders in the community)

·        Networking with local businesses (donation sites/internships)

·        Tutoring (in person, online, on phone or after school all levels)

·         Providing life skills training

·        Makeovers (back to school/interview)  (haircuts, eye glasses etc.)

·         Interview skills / Attire (for scholarships/jobs and resume building)

·         Grants to purchase items for students to take courses or attend trade, community, 2-year or 4-year schools
